Peter has worked at the Ezymart on the corner of Liverpool Street and Darlinghurst Road for six and a half years. In early 2020 when Sydney was in lockdown due to the Covid-19 crisis, Peter started to paint. Since then he has sold over 100 paintings. With the support of students and the local community, his shop has held several art exhibitions featuring the works of students from the art school nearby.
As of 2021, he largely works from home.
Peter’s work consistently has a strong sense of place – from his Chinese landscapes to portraits of Sydney’s most loved pets. His paintings of muscular men from magazines compliments the culture of Darlinghurst. Peter taps into memories of his childhood to explore innocent curiosities.
